Feel the pressure as a maintenance worker!

Freshly recruited by Kharon Corp (K.C), your daily task involves cleaning the entire hemicycle.

Deal with cleaning exhaustion and malfunctioning tools to satisfy your company and bring home a few Eltés.

Remain in your place among the country's great leaders and you may uncover some unflattering truths.

  • Highlighting the challenges encountered as a cleaning agent (janitor): physical difficulties, devaluation and lack of recognition (invisibilization), precarious working conditions
  • Criticism of the idealization and gamification of an exhausting profession
  • Criticism of the society and political system: denunciation of illegal and immoral acts committed by certain political figures (particularly in France); inflation and difficulties in sustaining a decent living


Passionate about this project, we decided to keep working on it

Take a look at the additions and modifications we are currently working on (we will update the list by crossing out the various entries):

  • Add a counter to display how much remains to be cleaned
  • Customization (modeling and texturing) of politicians (costumes and distinctive elements)
  • Rewrite the narrative for better balance
  • Add subtitles instead of dialogue 
  • Add SFX for more realism (sighs, groans, coughs, etc.)
  • Improve the UI
  • Improve the tutorial
  • Smooth camera and movement
  • Resize the map and some objects (newspapers)
  • Debug and improve the AI
  • Various bug fixes

Student project produced between November and December 2024, as part of Claire Siegel's "Expressive gameplay" course (Licence Professionnelle - Métiers du jeu vidéo).

  • Hours of work: Around 100h (brainstorming, iteration, design, dialogue, coding, animation, game design document etc...)
  • Engine: Unreal Engine 5
  • Initially, the goal of this game was to "détourner" (hijack) the game PowerWash Simulator
